Dawnlee – Dawn has devoted her life and career to the medical field for over 30 years. She received her Master’s degree in Professional Counseling and has additional training as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. She completed her internship and post- graduate hours working with agencies providing mental health care to at-risk individuals particularly children and adolescents. Prior to her undergraduate and  graduate studies at Liberty University, she was a Registered Nurse and Director of Nursing in facilities caring for adults and the geriatric population. She has since retired from Nursing. She considers herself a devoted advocate for all age groups. She has spent the vast majority of her life in service to others and continually strides to present herself as professional, caring and compassionate toward others.  She is currently working on her doctoral studies in Psychology and her interests include continuing education on new-found trusted counseling skills and techniques to assist in caring for her clients. She has experience treating clients using Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies for Anxiety, Depression, Adjustment challenges, ADHD/ADD, Oppositional Defiant and Conduct behaviors and other Stress and Trauma- related disorders.  She spends her free-time with her husband Ron, family, and her 8 rescue-pets enjoying the Tampa Bay sun!
Ron – Recently completed doctoral studies in psychology (Psy.D) with a doctoral thesis on the effects of pornography on the Christian Church.  He served 3 tours of the Persian Gulf before being medically retired from the Armed Forces and is a 100 percent service connected veteran.  He completed his Master’s of Divinity from Luther Rice Seminary in Lithonia, GA and a Masters of Arts in professional counseling from Liberty University.  He completed a 2 year postgraduate residency at the Medical Center of Central Georgia where he provided Trauma and Grief Counseling in the ER of a Level I Trauma Center.  Other assignments included work as a medical contractor for the Pasco County Correctional Center where he performed mental health assessments and treatment plans for incarcerated inmates.   He holds the title of Senior Pastor Emeritus from the Community of Christ where he served as both lay minister and full time executive minister before retiring in May 2018.  As Seminary Trained Pastor, Dr. Wood also provides Bible Based Christian Counseling and has years of experience working with those attempting to find meaning in their faith.  Additionally, he is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, The American Counseling Association and The Disabled Veterans of America.
